An Institute caters to clients of all ages having a whole range of communication disorders. The institute attracts students from all over India and abroad. It has strived in the past 50 years in furthering the cause of professions of Audiology, Speech Language Pathology and Special Education throughout the country. As there is an existing network infrastructure which was an outdated technology and this needs to be reformed and restructured with new technology. Along with this, new Wired Network LAN and Telecom infrastructure has to be structured for a new establishment with 24*7 CCTV Surveillance based security to keep a vigilant eye on the visitors, students and were also keen on operational alertness. Providing the Wi-Fi facility throughout the campus was in the mission.
When testing phase is over, Client plans to deploy the solutions which was offered by RAMAN IT includes OFC based 10G structured cabling infrastructure along with redundancy STAR topology. Thus provisioned for CCTV surveillance and Wi-Fi facility without any interruption.
Installing Vivotek camera at several of its campus, avoids manual patrolling and also it’s a boosting for the security dept of an institute. Vivotek camera as some unique features with embedded cybersecurity. To store the recording of the camera, NAS storage server is installed. Huge display wall is fixed in server room to view the live and recording of the camera. Server room consists of Smart Rack which has salient features in terms of efficiency, economic, interoperable, and controllable.
Providing the Wi-Fi facility throughout the campus was not an easy
play. Cambium wireless access point is used to provide the wireless network connectivity to the internet. Considered device is able to provide 5 – 6mtrs range of coverage which helped to name the campus as Wi-Fi zone.
